i just had an idea, we could all make a list of items, that arent currently being made, that we would like the raiders to create and maybe sell for next season.... something raiders that u wish u had.... and i'll send a email with all our ideas to the club...im sure they wouldnt say no!

How bout something similar to this to get us started off....this is something from parra that i dont think i can find in raiders form...how good would a raiders jersey look all over ur bed...like this:

The company (not ISC) that makes the bed covers didn't do any Raiders this season because they thought they wouldn't sell.

I bet they make them next year. I've also previewed the 2004 ISC range of Raiders gear and it looks sensational.

I would also like for the home jersey to stay the same in the future. After the Superleague/Oracle jersey and the green abomination that was the Ozemail jersey, we have returned to the lime green that most fans loved. If a new jersey is required, why not simply alter the away strip - that's going to cause less grief for the fans.

Also on the subject of home and away strips, I'd like to thank the Raiders for actually using their main strip for almost all matches this year. I felt that last year was just a tad of a farce, considering we played almost all games in our away (white) strip. How could we claim to be the Green Machine if we spent all the time in white???

The reason they keep changing the jersey is that people want the new jersey. If it was changed every 10 years, people would only need to buy it oce or twice it that period. When they change it every 3 or 4 years, people who buy the new jersey will end up buying a new jersey 3 times in this 10 year period.

Plus, the price is ridiculous - $160. We need to set up a stone cutters club where every thing is free or cheap and we get shortcuts to work. What we need is last season's prices this year i.e. when Peter Wynn's Score sells old model jerseys for like 50 bux or even 20 if they still have shitloads left over. Ebay is a good source for premier league shirts but finding Raiders jerseys is harder.

But on topic, it would be good to get new merchandise - the only problem is - I ain't a millionaire The stuff they sell is so dear. The sort of stuff I would like to see is stationery (folders, mouse pads etc.), coffee mugs, towels would be cool, and pretty much anything else they commercialise. The problem sometimes is that the design is shithouse - spewing on it would improve it if you know what I mean.

Nothing against the design of the away strip, but I really do think that we should wear the away strip only when we need to i.e. against Souths at the SFS. Wasn't pride in teh jersey one of the reason they were (and still are) performing so well?

The only time the team will wear the jersey is possibly in trial matches and in the case of playing Souths in Sydney. That is all.
