And this year there's gonna be a fairytale ride
They're gonna climb to the top of the ladder and then
They're gonna win the grand final, yo! in 2010
Here come the Raiders with a story to tell
They wanna win the NRL
The Canberra Raiders are the mighty green machine
They're big, tough & rugged, ruthless, mad & mean
They've got the hard workin' men up in the forward pack
And they're faster than a speeding bullet out the back
The Canberra Raiders have a tale they wanna tell
It's like, "Once upon a time in the NRL...
There was a team in green and they were glory bound
They left their opposition battered and bruised down on the ground

Last year I uploaded a song about each NRL team from the perspective of a New Zealand Warriors fan. Those songs were all positive about the Warriors beating everyone else. This year I wanted to do something similar but from the perspective of an NRL and rugby league fan. This time, each song is about a particular club and focuses on the fact that all teams should go into the 2010 NRL season with confidence, knowing that all clubs are level on zero points as they approach the kick-off!
