I thought I might start up a thread on current and former players kids and their chances of playing for the Green Machine when they come of age

I know Lossa once said his kids would never play for anyone else, does anyone know if that is still the case? Or has he changed that to red and white too???

Wiki's children would be a fantastic asset! I just read today that his sister played for the NZ team in womens Rugby League while his wife just played in a womens Rugby Union grand final! His entire family must have some sort of "footy" gene

We already had Don and David Furner plus (sort of) Brett and Robert Finch... I wonder how many other families will be all green?

Kenny Nagas has a nephew running around somewhere thats pretty good. Woolford's got a son too. So has Big Mal actually. His son Joshua would almost be of age now...is he playing?

that would be interesting to see little jnr meninga and schifoscke playing for the raiders. I reckon that the NRL should introduce a father son rule, similar to what the afl has. Although, for a club where a young players father played X amount of games (say over 100first grade games) the club should get some salary cap consessions..... i dunno its just an idea.

Plus the Raiders do in fact have a very large junior league and a long tradition of having players move on to other clubs. Michael Monaghan (unfortunately) is just the latest in a long list.

Who wrapped up the Premier League Minor Premiership last week...us, Who made the Qtr Finals of Jersey flegg....us, Who won SG Ball.....that was us again.

I actually found out off someone in the know that the reason Parra lose so many players is because Brian Smith gives players crap in front of other teammates and belittles them to the point where they hate him and can't play for him anymore. But you wouldn't know anything about that. It does raise the question why players like Crouch,Dykes,Green and Moodie haven't topped themselves yet.
