I wouldnt be so cocky, i and many others thought the same thing in 05, yet the Green Machine proved us wrong then.

Nukes gave the spoon honor in 2005
let's hope whoever comes in last, plays as well as they did.

Looking at team lineups Canberra are certainties for the spoon, will be a long year for them!

really? you come to that conclusion just by looking at the team lineups.
And in 2005 in round 12-13 did you expect the Tigers to win the comp? I think not.

We are too hard to beat at home to win the spoon. We only need to win 8 games IMO to avoid the spoon, which is 22 points with the byes... AT WORST we will fill at least 6 of that quota in home games if not the entire 8... and thats not counting away games that we might jag... at best we will win 10 odd home games and 5 away games, giving us 34 points

as much as you all might enjoy it. Canberra will not win the spoon IMO
Its destine for Penrith or the Warriors IMO

well 14th isnt a spoon is it? we were HEAVLY backed and tipped to win it but found a way to avoid it, all with a shocking injury toll. One would think that wont occur again so we are IMO an illogical choice for the spoon, especially when you look at other sqauds, some are IMO worse then ours

Wow.....I could have sworn the spoon went within a whisker of Bruuce last year.....

find me a whisker the langth of distance between Newcastle and Canberra and then you'll have a point, but from where i stand we were always about 400km's away ;-)
