I Think it is hard to get a gauge when so many players are out and we currently don't have the depth that other teams have....Sullivan would look different in the top grade...agree not ready just yet, but @ least they are making a pathway for him.
Agree Getsmarty.
Dragons in a different stage of development compared to the Eels (they have so much more available at this level). Griffin has to squeeze the lemon with the NRL squad this year, while overhauling the whole club and its development.

Sullivan had a few mistakes in him but gee, he still looks class. I think Wishart is a chance of being a backup hooker, and Burns did some good things. Not much else.

For Parra, their half Jake Arthur is going to be a goodun, as well as their fullback Russel, both only 18. I also like the look of their young prop Rodwell and it's a shame we couldn't have picked him up when he got released by Souths this year.

Our quality of depth looks real grim. Weakest looking reggie's we've had for a while. No size and very little experience.
Being saying it for weeks. we have no depth.
2 players down in the top 30 that should be forwards plus JDB and Cam now Brittian gone and Poasa out thats 6 fowards plus Matt F and Hunt out leaves us 22 players.

First Half
Half time and Saints are copping a beating. No one in the :Saints side, including Burns, are making much of an impression.

Half time score is Parra 24 to Saints 8.
Saints tries to Pereira and Max Feagai.
Parramatta's big pack of forwards making all the difference. Halfback Jake Arthur (Parramatta) and hooker Tyron Wishart (Saints) both playing well.

Second Half
Full time and Saints copped a real hiding. They were never in the game Sullivan first game back after injury needs another couple of games to reach match fitness. Burns had a good hit out in defence but nothing special today.

Fulltime score Parramatta 42 to Saints 8, seven tries to two. I'd say hooker Wishart was Saints best today. The final score is a goof reflection of the difference between the teams today.

Yes-it looked like men against boys- we lacked size, speed, skill, experience- pretty much everything you need to win a footy match. Agree Wishart was the hope of the side and reminded me of a young Nathan Brown.
