Superb game tonight with 2nd placed. Castleford playing fierce rivals Wakefield (Town Vs City).

After building a 24-4 lead Cas were unable to hold a rampant Wakefield who scored 24 unanswered points to win the game 24-28.

A feature of the game was the amount of home grown talent on show with both teams only fielding TWO overseas players.

A good crowd of almost 9,500 in Wheldon Rd saw a high quality game with Wakefields young halfback Kieran Hyde being outstanding against Rangi Chase who had given him nightmares just a few weeks ago at the Millenium Magic weekend.

That's how it should be for all SLE teams. Concentrate on the quality overseas players not just ones with an Antipodean accent.

Agree with you on that Deluded. Only way the English are going to catch up with the Aussies and Kiwis is if more and more English talent is playing in the ESL.

I only saw the highlights but i have been impressed with Frankie Mariano for Wakey, perfect example of a young player getting his chance after being stuck behind too many foreigners at Hull KR.
