i'm going with DIZELLE here. don't think i've ever backed her but i'm happy to jump on now

Backing Vitesse Dane. She got to a suitable distance (1900m) last start and finished off nicely under 57kg. Drops to 52kg and drawn the rails. She'll get a cosy run and be finsihing hard 5th run in this prep. Diamond Jake has been very consistant of late and looks a very good chance here. Dizelle ran well in the BMW and will be in the finish here.

Tubular Bells is scratched however Correct Amoondo comes out of that race and will run well. Fooram also hard to leave out.

Race 7 SYDNEY MORNING HERALD CHAIRMAN'S HANDICAP (2600m) at 3.50pm

Joice’s thoughts – A big field but cannot see much speed engaged which could pose a problem but was taken with the win of Fooram in the Manion Cup (2400m) and am happy to be on anything trained by John O’Shea at present – the stable is flying. Beadman rides and there is no doubt Fooram excels for ‘The Dazzler’. Despite the prospect of a slow pace – the 2600m around Randwick is never an easy one and Fooram will stay all day. Anything bordering on each-way odds will be snapped-up quickly. Diamond Jake is consistent and should get a charmed run. He is the knockout chance.

Payne’s thoughts –It’s hard to fault Fooram’s last run and the 2600m won’t be a problem going off the way he attacked the line. The barrier is a worry but that’s what D.Beadman is for. Dizelle is has fired up again at her last few runs and loves racing here while Diamond Jake is a consistent stayer who wont be far away.
