The Powergen Challenge Cup Final will return to Cardiffs Millennium Stadium on Saturday, 15 May 2004.
Richard Lewis, the Rugby Football League's Executive Chairman, said: "We are delighted to confirm that the Millennium Stadium will host the 2004 Powergen Challenge Cup Final."
"Everybody connected with the game was delighted by the way in which the 2003 Final was staged by the stadium and the welcome afforded to our fans by the Welsh people."
In April, more than 70,000 fans packed into the Millennium Stadium to witness Bradford Bulls victory over the Leeds Rhinos in the first Challenge Cup Final to be staged in Wales, it was also the first to be played under a a closed roof.
The RFL have an option of returning to Cardiff in 2005 and 2006, although they are due to return to the rebuilt Wembley for 2006, Cardiff would be an ideal option should contruction of the new stadium be delayed.
