I fell asleep at half time thinking Wigan were going to run away with it

Elland rd really is a dump
Ive seen worse lol. It is 38k all seater so hardly a dump but it is due a rebuild of the 2 older stands. If Leeds ever mange to be a consistent EPL club Im sure it will get done.

Rhinos could’ve bought it way back for like 8 million pounds when united went broke last time

instead they get 40 million spent on hewdingly and it’s still meh

plus they could’ve had united as a tenant

looks better from the outside than in it. It looked really dated

camera view was in the main new stand so it was looking at the older stand opposite most of game. Rhinos make a lot of money out of the Headingly complex and they dont need a stadium as big as Elland road. As you can see from that photo there is plenty of development room for another new sideline stand if the club could afford it in the future and could easily take it to 45k ish. This year despite being bottom of table they have avg'd 34k. A successful team would sell that place out no problem.

Its rumoured the 49'ers (yes NFL club!) who currently own 49% of the club will buy them outright next year including the stadium. Might see some redevelopment then.
