Championship 1 finals series question

How exactly is the finals series set up?

The way I am reading it from the website is...

1st after round robin is promoted to Co-op Championship 2010
2nd to 7th compete in a finals series with the winner also promoted.

Is this correct?

You would guess so. Last year they had 3 promoted, and in previous years they have given the second 'relegated' team a chance to compete in the finals series to save themselves. It seems to change every year. Personally I would go with the second system, there are some very poor teams in Championship 1 and 7 of 10 in the play-offs seems a bit much.

yep 1 up as league champions & 1 up via the play offs..



hopefully we'll avoid the play offs this year and go up as champion
