Championship teams attendances?

As a Hull KR fan who had just watched Leigh vs Salford on Sky Sports, I looked for the attendance - 6358. However I noticed a worrying problem for average attendances throughout the Championship.
Bradford Bulls: 4000
Leigh Centurions: 3000
Featherstone Rovers: 2000
Sheffield Eagles: 1300
Doncaster RLFC: 1200
Halifax: 1100
Doncaster RLFC: 1000
Batley Bulldogs: 900
Workington Town: 700
Whitehaven RLFC: 700
Hunslet Hawks: 500
Dewsbury Rams: ?

Why are they so low? How with the exception of the Top 2 are they going to survive in the Super League?

I can't see any team going up at the end of the year anyway so it won't matter too much. If they did though, you'd have extras going to watch because they were in SL and also anything between 1,000 and 5,000 away fans turning up each week so on any given day, say Leigh, would get 5,000-9,000 crowds in SL

These are just your guestimates, right? Because I know the Leigh average is much higher, their LOWEST crowd has been 3000 and at their opener they had 7,500. So they'd be on a 5000+ average.

The Sheffield/Doncaster figures are inflated because they have been staging double-headers, so in reality they are getting less to their matches.

I think, attendance-wise, if Wakefield drop and Bradford go up, then the SL average will rise next season. I believe Bradford playing in SL should be able to average over 8000.

A competitive Bradford used to average 15,000 too and would pull in 20/24,000 against Leeds. Just before they got relegated those games were pulling in 13,000 with 5 or 6k being from Leeds.

Obviously Bradford can get good crowds. Leigh could survive with healthy away support (LSV is a nice stadium).

Salford, Wakey and Widnes aren't getting great crowds. Widnes OK.

A solid Leigh should be getting a 6k average next year if they go up which is better than a couple of teams in SL this season. If they continue to play the way they are with a better calibre of player and start to push for the playoffs then there shouldn't be any reason why they can't push for 8-10k over time. You'd expect 10k crowds when Wigan, Warrington and Saints visit anyway and if they play Leeds on a Sunday, would be up towards that too.

I think if Leigh make SL, their average will be around 8000.

Problem with Leigh is, it's such a tiny town that that's probably them at absolute full capacity. Whereas a team like Sheffield for example (once their new stadium is ready) the sky's the limit. Sure if they were to play in SL now, they'd struggle to get 2000 to a match, but there is big potential there because it's such a big city. I'm just saying, if Leigh play the next 10 years in SL, their crowds in 10 years will be about the same, whereas a team in a place like Sheffield may have really flourished into something big. (same goes for Newcastle, who are showing great signs of growth already).

Let's not forget that last time Leigh were in SL they struggled to maintain a 4k average. A shiny new stadium should make that higher but let's not get too carried away
