I miss 2011 in general. I was never a more passionate fan. It's not a great thing to have 'peaked' in life but I still hold out some hope that the old feeling comes back.

I’d be surprised if he isn’t there next season, given he has already knocked back the Tigers 2 year offer as well

I didn’t watch any trial footy, but there seems to be a lot banking on Metcalf to deliver big things, I’m wary on that considering how long he has been around NRL squads without really knocking it out of the park outside of a month period with the Sharks a couple of years back

It may be that the club isn’t prepared to seriously bet on either Metcalf or Volkmann yet until either has a prolonged spell in first grade to prove themselves. CHT and TMM have both got top level runs on the board and obviously SJ has.

CHT was made of the right stuff. I don't think 6/7 was ever his position. Would've loved to see him in a Cameron Murray type of role.

Surely SJ signs a 1 year deal for next year. I'm not sold on Volkman yet. Perhaps he wants to go back to Sydney?

I wonder if CHT has hooker skills - Ben Hunt goes pretty well there when needed...
Not that we really need that as Egan is a lock in (though his concussion issues are a problem) and Lussick has proven up to NRL level as the back up.
