Well due to injury there will definitely be a couple.

Given as Chaos has already pointed out, due to the salary cap issues of late it is unlikely we will be seeing any new faces so that means we will be forced to make do with those who have already debuted.

Also I think we are a good chance to be missing 2 this week maybe even 3. With Ando's injury and Kearney still not even diagnosed that leaves a lot of positions to fill. Lucky for us Simmo should be back. What does that leave us with? Not sure but I will give it a crack

I reckon Noddy will be called up, and at least 1 of either Gallen or Bird as well. If both I think that's probably the most balanced side we can field. Personally I probably would have called Hannay up, but seeing as he has been dumped and told he is not in the plans, it would be a pretty big backflip and show sticky as looking like a bit of a fool, so I think Hannay will be staying right where he is.

Frenz mentioned in a thread a while ago they are baffled with Kearney. He trains at 100% some days and then breaks down the next. So far they have been unable to diagnose it properly.

Frenzy also raised the point that with all the cap troubles at other clubs it is unlikely we will be promoting other younguns right now. Sad fact of the salary cap, but part of club football it seems.

Personally I would love to see a youngen have a run out there. I am SICK of seeing fuggen backrowers play in the centres, they tend to make a lot more errors than normal and defending in the centres is a lot harder than the pigs.

Kearney looked fine at a 21st on saturday night. I couldn't believe how big he has gotten, he is massive. Ashley Harrison was out also and dead set Kearney is bigger then him.

Was funny to see Chris Anderson at largo but..

as for the team.. i think sticky will try and keep things as familiar as possible

I have no idea, I am only echoing Frenzy's thoughts, which make sense.

We have already used a couple of players outside that squad of 25 though.

Yeah top 25 is your cap, 350k covers second tier players, as many as you want as long as you dont exceed 350k.

They may well have but then that would defeat the purpose of having PL and Flegg.

Come origin time the broncs used to lose over half their top squad including those injured.

I didn't say it was fact Surely, just that in light of the recent problems with other caps we might need to know where we are with all the bullshyte going on before we can use any 2nd tier players. Like you say, could end up a load of Konsty.

Yes we have.

Using the nrl.com list of our 25 we have used every player except Greenfield. That is 24, outside of that list we have called up Weston and Taulapapa. That is 26 unless I am missing someone.

I wouldnt be concerned in relation to cap Cowboys at 29 players, and they would have to be well over cap, same as Dragons.

Thompson will play this week, match not till monday and against Dragons he wont miss it
