Did anyone see the 60 minutes story on the convicted rapist and drug dealer former AFL player?

The story seemed as though it was made to feel like this bloke is some sort of hero and we should pity him. They even had McGuire do the story.

Can't imagine them doing anything like that on RL. Remember the Dogs story earlier this year?

Double standards at their worst.

I didn't see it, but as soon as I heard that Eddie McGuire was the actual person who picked him up from prison when he was released, with pen in hand, I knew that what was to come next was going to be a crock.

The truth is only now starting to emerge about the Bulldogs, and begrudgingly. Paul Kent forced a few words out in his Spittin' Chips article today about the crap that was reported at the time. There was detailed article a few weeks ago in the Weekend Australian which covered the entire story in retrospect. Was very good, but hardly rated a mention. I bet we won't see anything about it on 60 minutes to correct all of the mistruths

I forgot to put he also served time for reckless driving after killing a council worker.

As far as I'm concerned the bloke is garbage. The whole story was a joke.
