Charge shet from the weekend...

To all those who took offense to me suggesting Hamstead had a shocker on the weekend.....the charge sheet is an interesting read.

We were penalised TWICE for high tackles in the early stages of the game - part of a run of about 6 penalties.....the Cowboys were never penalised for any high tackles.

The Cowboy's Luke O'Donnell is charged with a grade 1 careless high tackle.....and bugger me, no Parra boys are up

How can this be? - surely Hamstead didn't screw up???


And to be honest that was only a small part of his crap performance. :x

As a kid, I used to complain and bitch like hell about referess, but as I have grown older, and seen more Rugby League, I have come to realise that they are but a small part of results.

And in the case of Parramatta, our continual poor form (3 years) goes far deeper than a Sean Hampstead and 1 game.

I watched the game and couldn't believe the amount of dominant tackles we had against us....I also thought it was disgraceful that the high shot on Hindy got nothing more than a "just get up and play it" from Hamstead, yet he jumped all over any of our tackles that went vaguely high....and I was very pissed we never got a penalty until 5 mins from half time.

You could see the frustration on our guys all game - Stapo blew up at one point and Hindy, the most diciplined footballer going around, was about to get into some biff when he got hit high a 2nd time (which also went unpenalised).

I knw we screwed up and virtually gave up in the 2nd half...and that just plain sucks.....we don't have it in us the be a good team these days - up and down like a yo-yo......but when the ref gets on your case uncessicarily it just makes it worse.

That's my point Strider, and I don't mean to be condescending. There are a heap more problems in the way we are playing than Sean Hampstead.
Sure he didn't have a perfect game, but proportioning mistakes his way is just disguising the problems that we are currently facing.

If you could be more balanced in your reviews, I'd be more balanced in my acceptance of your opinions.

No, not at all. I am however, offended continually by reading week after week that the referee was at fault.

My major point is that I feel Parra have serious problems at the moment, and that you, every week, find fault in anything other than Parra. That is the way we both feel. It seems as though neither of us will change our minds so lets just agree to disagree.
