Gibbs
Club Wests Tigers
Time (minute) 50th
Charge or Incident High Tackle - Reckless
Charge Grade 2
Base Penalty 350
7 yrs incident free for discount? No
Penalty pts from this charge (early plea) 393
Penalty pts from this charge (late plea)
Penalty pts from this charge (guilty plea) 525
Prior similar offences in last 2 yrs (50% loading) 1
Prior non-similar offences in last 2 yrs (50% loading) 0
Carry-over points to be added 93

So the way I see it is that he will get 5 games for a guilty plea?

Satts
Club Wests Tigers
Time (minute) 10th
Charge or Incident High Tackle - Careless
Charge Grade 1
Base Penalty 75
7 yrs incident free for discount? No
Penalty pts from this charge (early plea) 84
Penalty pts from this charge (late plea)
Penalty pts from this charge (guilty plea) 112
Prior similar offences in last 2 yrs (50% loading) 1
Prior non-similar offences in last 2 yrs (50% loading) 0
Carry-over points to be added 0

So Satts will get 1 game? Thats bullshit

For an early GUILTY plea;

Satts gets 1 week
Gibbs gets 4 weeks

If they successfully contest the charge they get off. Sattler has a very good chance.

I'm not sure. Is 84 points correct? I'm basing my assumptions on a radio news bulletin which said that he would get a 1 week penalty for an early guilty plea. If it is only an 84 point penalty then he would escape suspension.

They will contest both rest assured.

Gibbs does not deserve 5 weeks for a shoulder charge. Maybe 2-3 for a late hit.

Loading is already added to the base to come up with the 112 for the late plea. He just needs to put in an early plea and he will be there next week.

Wests Tigers forward Bryce Gibbs also faces a lengthy ban after being charged with a grade two reckless high tackle for his late shot on Brisbane halfback Casey McGuire in the 50th minute of the Suncorp Stadium match on Saturday night.

Gibbs will miss four matches if he enters an early guilty plea for the offence, which would end his 2004 season if the eighth-placed Tigers fail to make the finals.

Manly prop Jason King will cop a two-match suspension regardless of his plea on a grade one striking charge while NZ Warriors winger Clinton Toopi will miss one match if he submits an early guilty plea to a grade one knee dropping charge.

Sydney Roosters captain Brad Fittler and Tigers lock Scott Sattler will both escape suspension if they make early guilty pleas to grade one dangerous throw and grade one careless high tackle charges respectively.

Thats great news we need Satts cool head there this week. Gibbs is lucky to only get 4 IMO

Yeah Buettner's my tip for the centre position, I would pick Halatau there but i think he offers more impact off then bench .
