For me its seeing who our 14 is.. by sheer lack of options it may need to be Haele Finau.. for the next 6 weeks or whatever it is until Liddle returns... 1 more injury though him or Cook and hoolllleeeeeee.. they will probably be forced into moving Kyle out of the halves.. thats how thin we are for hooker depth...

Yeah if we're returning to the Haele Finau well during the NRL season then things really are dire.

My guess is Cook will just play more minutes at dummy half and Finau will play 14.
Cook was only coming off for 10-15 min last year, when Liddle came on he was just moved and had a break around 60min mark.

Yes, Kyle to hooker and Tonga in the prop rotation It would also be good to see Holmes, Suli, Sua, and Leilua in the Dragons team and KK in the Rabbits team..

I reckon this is our best option right now.

If all goes well, I'm pretty confident Reed could handle 1 or 2 games in first grade (with a weeks break after Vegas) if needed until Lids is back, then revert back to Reggie's to continue to hone his craft.

With a back rower bodyguard, I don't think this would hamper his development.

They really only need 3 forwards + hooker (which is technically a forward but a very different role)... and unless something goes very wrong.. thats the 4 benchies you will be intending to use every week (i.e. nothing has changed).

The remaining 2 spots... you could have 1 more forward on top to cover a HIA which is more likely to be a forward.... you could do many things though depending on your roster.. and I suspect it will evolve as the season goes on.. but I do think LKT and Feagai are perhaps the 2 sort of backs on our bench for Round 1.. until Liddle returns. Feagai covers 1-5, LKT has 6-7 and hopefully covers the stint @9 and according to flanno can cover 13 if needed also.
