The season hasn’t even started and you are acting like you won a final. Be careful. What you are doing is bullying other supporters because your team won. I would expect that from a bulldogs supporter not a souths supporter. Arrogance is not good.

I'm so sorry I'm now on my knees begging you for forgiveness with tears streaming down my face. Can we be friends now?

What a complete disappointment , right around , yes I know it was only a trial but you would have thought they would have put enough points on them to win the game against a team that was so under staffed ....... Was I surprised no , not really , Im starting to think Flanno coached team is stuck in the past ....... He just relies on big bulky players that have no speed and can only attack when in oppositions quarter ....... As for new guy Fale is he any better than Feagai , I say no ....... And as for the winger Setu Tu that couldn't crack a first grade spot and is now likely to be one of our wingers , but we had a speedster young player in Sione Finau that scored 2 tries yesterday for the Raiders and they let him go ....... You need speed in a team to be able to turn a game and go 90m ....... Seems to me Coach Flanno just wants big bulky player type , speed doesn't matter to him ....... Anyway yep it's just a trial but for me I hope I'm wrong it's going to be a long season ....... Atkinson as a 7 still not sure Kyle at 6 is becoming a joke ........
Early days we know, but I'm with you re the big bulky blokes...been saying it for years now in that the game has changed so much that the big bash and barge days are long gone....its now played at such a pace it's almost touch type of footy....the towing of 2 or 3 defenders upfield and offloading is far and few between anyway....its more the nippy type of support player in numbers and passes that are quick an accurate at pace that cuts defensive teams to shreds....I have to be honest I don't see room for players like Blocker and Kerr in the 17 for starters.....we have some wonderful young forwards in our squad I just hope their used to play expansive type of footy by Flanno and not just smashing it upfield....because like last year their injuries took their toll....on a brighter note to finish how good is young Hamish, Origin written all over him

Is it just possible that NO one wanted to play at full pace, so they didn't risk their Vegas ticket???
There was minimal leg speed & some hit ups when the ball was turned inside looked just like a training set.
I think (HOPE) we see a deferent intensity come VEGAS.
Sele obviously didn’t get the memo!

If it’s only a game why all the hubris on your part?

By all means enjoy your win but please do it in your own forum and leave us to deal with the result by having meaningful discussions as to where to from here.

From one old timer to another old timer I salute you old bunny timer

all the bumbling from the backs masks the real issue of having really ordinary front rowers and doing nothing about it for years. Long season ahead.
I agree, we should have recruited a KK like prop for season 2026. Our young forwards will progressively deliver qulity to our forward pack; that is, of course, we can retain them. I do not doubt that, with a good defensive coach in place, KK will make a big contribution in 2027.

To me it seemed the halves, the wingers, and team defence generlly was lacking a winning plan in the Charity Shield game.

Lawrie, Sele, and Gulet are not the answer.
