Unfortunately our biggest problem is sustaining the pressure and intensity for 80 mins.....it's been relevant for years and years ....whenever we get our noses in front for whatever reason we clock off....opposition clubs are fully aware of this trait in our game which in turn makes us very easy to coach against.....barring injuries and poor refereeing decisions which every team has to endure (well almost most) its all about the brains trust sitting in the coaching box and what directives and instructions as to how they manage in particular the latter part of the game ......also as we know it's a full 17 man game these days from start to finish and tbh I'm not convinced we are using ours to it's full effect....I see the game these days as a game of chess you can be fully in control of your opponents game but a couple of bad decisions and moves and bingo its check mate

Any fans of The White Lotus in here?

Attachment is one of the “3 poisons” of Buddhism. Binding yourself to something you desire such as - for example, a specific football team to win games - can only lead to suffering. So the Buddhists say.

Which brings me to White Lotus. Season 3 of TWL is ALL about this. And... the character we Saints fans are most similar to is Chelsea. Like Chelsea, we are sexy, adorable and wise. However - Chelsea is deeply attached to a flawed, troubled, and broken thing, just like we are. She called him his soulmate, she followed him everywhere with doe-eyes full of love and admiration, she thought with time he would come good... and for a moment it looked like he almost did change! But beating the Melbourne Storm and leading Parra by 12 were not the nirvana we desired. Spoiler alert - our misguided attachment leads to suffering, every time. This team will kill us all unless we move to Thailand and convert to Buddhism or to Penrith and convert to the Panthers.

Otherwise I'll just down some Lorazepam and keep watching the idiots in the red v without being so attached. Drugged out detachment is the answer

Ps Gus Gould is Greg/Gary
