Hopefully the start of something big for Rugby League in the Americas.

Attended a fund raiser function for newcomers to International RL hosted by Rob Burgin during the year. A Chilean RL rep (I believe it was Rod who is mentioned in the article) spoke passionately about the journey thus far and their aspirations for the future.

May not make it for 2021 ....but seeing RL played in Central and South America come 2041 will be the real success story.

Lots of Chilenos in Australia and the Latin Heat have done a great job of finding them (amongst other latinos) that play rugby league. They could definately put together a handy side when it comes to World Cup Qualifying.
