Choc out for 3 weeks

Hard working Manly second rower Anthony Watmough is out of action for 3 weeks with a broken thumb.

He joins State of Origin duo Steve Menzies and Steve Bell on the sidelines for an extended period.

Glen Stewart is the replacement player in the forward pack. The team to take on last placed Souths is:

SEA EAGLES NRL TEAM: Brett Stewart, Michael Robertson, Chris Hicks, Steve Matai, Paul Stephenson, Travis Burns, Matt Orford, Jason King, Michael Monaghan, Brent Kite, Luke Williamson, Glenn Stewart, Ben Kennedy ©
Interchange: Shayne Dunley, Kylie Leuluai, Mark Bryant, George Rose, Nathan Tutt (1 player to be omitted)

:( :( :( :( :(

Although I hate to see any of our players injured it might be good timing now playing the lesser teams of the comp and have him and the other 2 bcak ready to fire at the business end of the season.

If we can win 2 from our next 3, + the bye - we will have a full strength side and be in a good position to make an assault on the top 4.

fingers crossed that the medical staff won't put his return back a week, Manly need Bell against the Panthers.

I don't think they will risk him. I think he's still 50/50 for the Parramatta game to be perfectly honest. Highly highly doubt he'll play next week against the Panthers. Anyone makin the trip out to Brookie next week?
