Chris Bailey former Newcastle player who signed with Manly two seasons ago.

If true a great signing.

He could easily be our starting 5/8.

Manly haven't used him right.

He had a great passing game at Newcastle.

Added bonus is that he is a great defender and has great utility value particularly in the back row.

His management are meeting with Penrith over the next two days.

I'll come back and fill in if I have news.

Apparantly the contract offer may be too good to pass up, according to his manager around the $250+ range.

While he'd be worth it in the 3rd/4th years of his contract I don't think his current play is worthy of that type of money.

I have been told that he does want to stay at Penrith and will take less than that to stay.

So we'll see how it goes.
