Heighno should definatley have been signed before june 30...i have a bad feeling he will go but I hope he stays, Sheens is really pushing it if he lets Heighno go- and he'll prob sign Senter and Beutnar for another 5 years.

He's a genius, and I would seriously seriously have grave doubts over the future of our club if Sheens was to let him go.

we need to sign heighno as he will take over from sattler and o'neil as the workman in the team, no x factor but still solid...

I was under the impresion that we offered him a 2 or 3 yr contract but he only wanted a 1yr contract .Think Central Coast bid made him a little home sick.

Genius..no, but he has the makings to be a solid player - just needs to step up a few gears now!

the central coast is only an hour away, if you could secure your future and only be an hour away from family and friends why wouldn't you???

He has those gears and more. If we keep him, he will be the cornerstone of our backrow, in years to come.

Im sure that if there was interest in Chris from a rival the club the tigers would be made known about that and given the opportunity to re sign him. I'd be horrified if we let him go actually, im sure like last season certain players have been told th perform for the sake of their contracts. I would like to think though that if push came to shove with Chris the club would sign him on the spot.

Its not Sheens or anyones fault at the WTS if Chris leaves the club!!!

They have made him a more than generous offer but its not to a 1yr term that Chris would like - We have offered him a 2yr deal with a 3rd year option and the salary is more than what he is getting now thats for sure!

Given that not alot of clubs have come knocking on his door so I guess it shows he really isn't worth signing him for a 1yr deal!

Yeah.I read that he was keen on going back to the Central Coast if they get in.That`s fair enough too,him being a local, but it`s not much good to us as we have to make plans on the future immediately and haven`t got time to wait around and see what Heighno wants to do!He`s a good player and I still believe he`ll develop into a very good player, but I must say I have been a little disappointed in a couple of his games of late. Not that he played bad,but I was expecting a little more impact from him!

heighn doesn't really supply impact, he takes over from o'neil or sattler and offers heart and effort.
