Just watching how this guy has come along in the past seasons and his game on friday nite id say this guy has to be right up there for origin this year...id say over that plodder Cooper who couldnt run out of sight on a dark night
Time for some new blood i think..Farah gets his chance as well

He'll go very close, NSW is very skinny in the centres.

Who are his main competition, Cooper, Delaney, Monas, Jennings, anyone else?

Youre forgetting that there is two parts to a rugby league game, attack and defense. Too bad Lawrence is horrible at the latter. Hes a very mediocre tackler and makes some amazingly bad reads in defense.

he is from campbelltown, doesn't that qualify for QLD selection under the Folau rule?

Cooper is the best defensive centre in the game and lawerence's defense has improved out of sight in the last six month. Chris is a morale for SOO along with Farah and Chris Hiegno (cant spell his name)

You haven't watched him play lately have you?

Yeah his defense has been fine for the last year or so. He sorted it out pretty early - to the extent that i'd say he's actually a better defender than Collis, who isn't too bad himself.

It's his attack that's been sub-par recently.

I'd have Jennings before Lawrence, but I think you could fit them both in there.
The problem with Jennings is that he is playing for the Panthers, who will more than likely be on the bottom of the table come origin time.

This won't do his chances any good at all.

it will have to be 2 of cooper, lawrence monaghan and jennings. Some of those can play wing though

I think lawrence and monaghan on the wing would be ideal, now we just have to find some centres cooper probably has a spot sewn up.

Jarryd Hayne and Matt Cooper would be my centres for this years Origin. They are bigger and stronger, when you consider the like of Hodges, Inglis, Folau, Darius Boyd, Slater running at the edges, I'd rather these two blokes than Jennings and or Lawrence at this stage of their careers.

The Blues need to win, and not merely look flashy with young fresh exciting club players.

Both Hayne and Cooper have been part of the last three losing series.

We need fresh blood.

I think Jennings name will definitely get thrown around come Origin time. He was in the original train on squad for Australia and then was going to be called into the side but had already agreed to play with someone else.

I'm a Panthers fan so it'll sound biased, but I'd take Jennings over Lawrence any day of the week and twice on game day.
