Anyone seen it, its set in the slums of rio di janero, if you can get past the whole subtitles thing you will enjoy it, one of the best movies ive seen in a long time, picked it up on the weekend for $10 so im assuming its been out for a while, awesome movie!!!

That was on sbs last year huh, i watched a few of those episodes, didnt realise it was adapted from a movie till i watched city of god though.

I'll keep an eye out for it, a mate got me into the asian gangster film series "young & Dangerous", since then ive been making an effort to look for some more stuff, i never realised some of these foreign language movies could be so good until now.
