Hi guys.

I posted this elsewhere, but think that the Wests players should be applauded for remaining on the ground last night after the game to honour Robbie Kearns in his tribute.

After a loss, and I'm sure one that they would be disappointed in considering they had a chance to sure up a top 4 spot, you could understand the players wanting to get to the rooms, but they showed great respect for one of the true gentlemen and quality players from our club.

Well done, and see you in the finals (hopefully back in Melbourne in two weeks time!!!)

There was a little presentation speech where a tribute video for Kearnsy with footage of his days at Cronulla, Perth and Melbourne was shown. Brian Waldron spoke, and then Kearnsy gave a little speech thanking the fans, and the club, his family, all the usual sort of stuff. The tigers players gathered around and stayed on the ground for the speeches and the video.

Might seem like a little thing, but i don't think all clubs would have done it.

i also thought it was EXTREMELY respectful of the players to stay out on the ground for the whole thing. after a loss im sure all they wanted to do was get back nto the sheds, but they stood, watched the videos and at times even clapped.
i seriously doubt that many other teams would have done the same.
congratulations on having a a great buch of guys playing for the tigers that have such a huge respect for other teams, and in doing so, gained the respect of the 10 000 storm supporters at Olympic Park.
