Yes, there is an endless stream of utter rubbish published these days. It's not journalism or anything remotely like it. Just a weird world of attracting attention as top priority which, by definition, is very basic and immature.

Murdoch rags have always done it. They've just gotten worse since the advent of social media. Gotta hook em in and get engagement.
