Club logo design

Hello you talented people! I was just wondering if any of you could design me a logo for a new sports club at my university. It would be greatly appreciated and due to my lack of knowledge and lack of creative talent, I was wondering if any of you guys could help.

The club name is the Griffith University Vikings and it is a European Handball club! I want something to reflect the sports, have the full name on it, be red where possible as that is the colour of the uni and to look awesome.
