Club player lists and "player numbers"

Just got to thinking, there's discussion at one of the Bulldogs boards at the moment about who player number #700 was going to be (it was Nick Youngquest )... which clubs list, use and publicise the player numbers of their entire history? The Bulldogs have it fully catalogued on their website - just wondering how many clubs use this practice?

Cheers

Tim

whos # 1 for the dogs..and how did they work it out?

alphabetical? first player run onto the field etc?

In order of appearance from 1935 to now. Not sure how they ordered the first team, I'd imagine by position 1-17 and so on...

Great stuff. I thought Cronulla did it too? What about Saints? Any other clubs?

That original Wests Tigers team 1-17 actually looked pretty handy. It is a bit of a surprise that it took them six seasons to make the finals

F*ck Timmah are you sure you aren't the count from Sesame Street? I've never seen someone get off on lists and numbers like you do.

Is it possible for a topic to go by without someone having a go? There's absolutely nothing wrong with what I've asked, seriously dude - give it a rest.

Not having a go.

I seriously think you have a numbers fetish or something. Whenever there is a thread to do with some sort of statistic, you have either started it or you're in it up to your neck.

Just an observation.

Plenty of people take a keen interest in different types of statistics, I'm not a lone case or anything. Just not interested in having a thread turn into crap (or not) about me. If you want to pass comment maybe PM me next time, I'm genuinely interested in finding out if other clubs not listed here keep these sorts of records...
