Not an excuse mate , it was mentioned that Doust didn't want him there , either way it's got to be some what better than the previous two coaches ...... I for one don't care who is our coach , Flanno Ryles , or even Doust ( if he thinks he can coach ) , if the team is improved and heading up the ladder ...... Anyway let's wait and see how this pans out ......

The way I see it, he still trying to get out. We were ridiculed by opposing fans for paying way overs when we signed him up in 2018, he was quite happy to take the money and this is his way of repaying us, I have no kind words to describe him.

Since Ben wants to go so badly maybe he should quietly arrange for a suitable player swap or financial arrangement with the club he wants to go to instead of sooking that he wants to go and then expecting others to work out a deal that let's him get what he wants!

I doubt there's another club wanting him. It's always perplexed me as to why we pay him squillions and make major strategic decisions based around him. It's been our core stupidity for the past five years (compounded by Hook coming in as coach and McInnes going and being replaced by McCullough - FFS! Really?)

I am hoping the dragons fix all the issues, turn the team into a consistent premiership force & just as they are building to potentially win it boot Hunt & announce a huge marquee signing to replace him, going on to win the premiership with said new player.
