it was always bound to happen.
Johnny is great with kids but no good managing the senior players.

This is a team that lacks proper leadership and direction.
Chad is fighting Johnson, Johnson is fighting Moylan, Moylan is screwing up everyone.

Too many chiefs not enough Indians.
Acid test for Coach Morris

f**king overpaid primadonas

They should go get a real job if they don't want to have a go

And don't wear the famous jersey again whilst they are at it

I’ll put a kick in on the third with back spin on it which stops about 10 meters out, lead the chase and then make a half arsed arm grab attempt at tackle from side on. I’m Shaun Johnson, getting paid nearly a million dollars a year.

He was always up against it. The mix of personalities in this sharks teams is a nightmare for most coaches, you need a nutjob like Flanno to keep them all in line.

Without Flanno they have lost their edge, they also added SJ who was never going to fit in with the sharks style of play or attitude. Its a ticking time bomb now IMO.

Morris has to take a lot of responsibility for what is occurring, on the wing over the last few weeks we have had Feki, Gray, Xerri, Dugan, Morris. FFS tough decisions need to be made so make them. How can any consistency happen when the backline changes massively each week.
FTR Moylan is terrible and can not play in the same team as SJ.

I can’t remember a Sharks side consistently dogging it. They had, at times over the shit years, little talent/skill but they tried hard in every game that I can remember bar 1.

Parramatta 74-4. There were some kaaarnts not having a go that game and that disgraceful performance stained the jersey. Not much of a talented squad but still dogged it.

This squad, is supposed to be full of superstars. Some of those stars are deadset humming rap song lyrics in their head while on field. They ain’t mentally there.

Don’t care. Don’t give a f**ken shit what the coach or fans think. Bizarre.

Yeah he's lost. The biggest challenge of the year was to fit superstars back into a team of performing youngsters. It was going ok...Moylan in one week...Johnson in the next...then Woods. Slow adjustments to a winning side... But then just as this change up occurs he throws the entire backline in a blender.

His hooking of Johnson to put a goalkicker on the field was...bizarre. the way he was shaking and scratching himself in the presser means he knows he f**ked it.

I hope the last few weeks were just a lapse and it's a learning experience for him, but he needs to give the team consistency and certainty and belief.

Even focusing on goalkicking isn't good enough. Yeah we would've won the last three, but we played like total shit against the worst opposition the competition can throw at us...the problem was not missing goal kicks the last two weeks, it was the ENTIRE performance.

The failing to five at loose balls is the surest evidence of an attitude problem. That and Josh Morris scoring three tries and looking depressed when he walked back... something's f**ked and Coach needs to figure it out for next week

Trouble is the experienced players, read all the past positive headlines how super players are, they consciously take it into each match.I'm doing my part, the others can please themselves ,and it shows. The oldies playing as individuals not as a team. This leads the younger ones to follow suit.Take the wrong options.

They either all want to score ,there seems to be a lack of building the attack ,even when they are behind.
The reading of the play at times is obnoxious.

Much as we bag the Storm, when the experienced big three were operating together, they co ordinated the attack ,probing weaknesses ,incorporating the younger players and not rushing the attack.
They defended together young and old and positioned themselves accordingly.it seems to be operating with them similarly today. Egos are thrown to the sh*thouse there.

IMO there are a couple of the old heads living on borrowed time.I agree the chopping and changing of positions by the coach,"ain't" helping.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, we aren' t dark horses, but pale imitations.Beating the Storm would renew my faith.

It was BS to say he took Johnson off because we needed a goal kicker. Kyle was already on the field as he replaced JB. SJ was hooked!

You should change your name on this forum to Schleprock, whenever something bad goes down you appear. On this occasion I agree 100% and with the rest of the posts in this thread.. He's got about 3 weeks to turn it around or it's goodnight 2019.

Yeah...the shaking in the presso. He wasnt in a good place.
Rattled.

For a bloke who always presents as in control now is the time to show some steam. Channel Des. Toovs. Or that maniac bellyache.
But put the phfarkers on notice.

Spot phfarking on.

My running commentary during the game was this.

Always missed the tackle.
Always.

And when the next guy in the chase made the tackle johnson flopped on top to make out he was part of the tackle.

I think the real issue is the who is running the team?
Who is the alpha?

Honestly looks like no one, there is no alpha. Moylan, Johnson, Townsend and Brailey (in that rough order) are all looking to someone else to take charge...all that uncertaity around loose balls, the passes thrown with like...60% confidence...even the outside men aren't hitting their lines the same, all out of time. Thought Uele was the only one who was really looking certain with his runs.

It is full of stars. Unfortunately those stars are all out of position, or can't gel because of clashing styles.
Morris will have to bite the bullet by the end of the year and release one of the higher paid players otherwise this team is in trouble for a few seasons
