Hey Stormy, here's a new thread for you.

As I sip my morning latte (no, I'm not a Roosters fan) I got to thinking, who out there needs a coffee to function each morning/day/afternoon?

I don't find myself addicted, but do enjoy the odd coffee if I'm having a flat morning.

Also, cue debate on health benefits or negatives of coffee.

Fire away :)

Timmah only Roosters supporters drink real lattes so what you have is a fake one. :p I find that in the morning I need a hot drink be it coffee, tea or even just hot water to clear the sleep cobwebs away. I usually drink the max of two coffees a day.

That brings me to the next question...

Instant, machine on-site, plunger or purchased?

I'm the same as Dani. I'm one of those unusual types who just doesn't feel the need to have one. Can function just fine throughout the day :p

Cappuccino is where its at

I have a machine at home for weekends or for the weekday commute to the office/job site. Our office machine f**king sucks but our office manager regularly shouts coffees from the local cafe (whom have hhoooooottttt staff) most days with the company CC.

I find I function ok without a coffee but its so much a part of my morning ritual that it feels weird if I dont have one first thing. I also have one in the arvo if Im feeling flat or before a workout as it helps me go a little harder when tossing iron around.

That stuff tastes like making love in canoe

Yeah need my coffee to function that's for sure
Don't knock it. You just have to go with the rhythm. As for diet drinks, no thanks. I usually drink water and occasionally mineral water.

Diabetic. Don't have a choice in what soft drink I can drink.
I'm not saying not to Dani but I find that if I drink the sweet drinks I get even more thirsty and the diet drinks I have tried leave a odd after-taste.

i am big coffee fan.

i have a good little setup at work that i can produce a decent consistent brew.
but only just worked my tastebuds up to drink short blacks
and that's where you can really start to appreciate good fresh beans

i'm well on my way to becoming a coffee snob

Coffee machine at my house. Need it EVERY morning... On day shift, I'll have one at home (4am) then another at about 8am while at work (hooray for half priced coffee...)

Night shift; usually 2 on shift... although if struggling to stay awake (9/10 shifts Im driving) I've been known to need 4.

Love my coffee. Has to be real. None of the instant stuff.

Thou shalt not blaspheme against pepsi max!

As for coffee, got a machine at work or I buy them, can't do instant, can't really function without one either
