I am unable to make the Brisbane Magic Round game (sucks for me, will be in Las Vegas) so am looking at taking the family down to Coffs Harbour for a few nights and take in the game vs the Knights.

My four year old especially loves going, had the time of his life last year at the game at Redcliffe (such a shame we don't play the Dolphins there, great family venue and close to the players etc).

All seating is sold out except for GA, but looking at pictures I can find the GA seating looks like its about 50m away from the field on a hill surrounding a running track etc. Is this the case? Is viewing absolutely terrible or can the kids run down to the fence to watch etc?

It's only $80 for a family for GA, but I was hoping even in GA the kids can see the action or at least get a bit closer at the end of the game.

Hoey Moey is a 10 minute drive to the ground. There's a Leagues club across the road that looks like it's been there since Jesus was a pup, still, It will probably serve beer!

Booked the family for a trip down. It’s a week after I return from Vegas so it’ll be a take it easy attitude! Staying at Breakfree because it seemed family friendly. Got GA tickets, kids under 5 free is pretty great, only $40 for a day at the footy, glorious! (Plus about $100 in ice creams and hot dogs no doubt!)

So who’s heading down/up this weekend?

Sold out I see, probably a lot of Knights fans getting tickets as they don’t completely suck this year.

Staying at Aanuka (spelling?) Beach for a few nights so will take the kids around the beach, big banana and whatever else can keep them entertained.

Saturday arvo such a great time for a footy game.
