Anyone else a fan of this show? I've only seen the past two episodes, but in both shows I've not only been intrigued by the story, but (as cheesy as it sounds) touched by it as well. Too many crime shows these days (even Law and Order, which I love) focus too closely on the crime, and not enough on the victim. I really like the way the show lets us see the victim, and focuses just as much on their own life as it does on the denument.

Last week's episode (about the track star who was murdered) was really sad, and the music set the scene quite well. You can't go wrong with a song like 'Keep on Lovin' You' by REO Speedwagon. It definitely has a newfound sad attachment for me now.

Tonight's episode was great, although the musical use wasn't as good. Really interesting to tackle not only a very different era, but also a different culture (that of the homosexual community in the 60s). Just as sad as last week's, especially when the Danny's mother finally met the man he'd loved.

Ok, I've waxed lyrical enough. It's just so rare that something on television can consistently draw an emotional reaction.

It is a top show.

I love the soundtrack.

I raided my parents CD collection a couple of months back and found all the 70s/80s love song pop stuff. Its all the stuff they use in the show and thus I know all the words.

I watched it last week and had bloody reo speedwagon's song stuck in my head for a day  I then proceeded to get a Chicago song in my head.

Not a bad show.

Next week's show looks interesting. They were playing the candlelight version of 'Heaven' (by DJ Sammy and Yanou) on the ad, so I'm guessing it's going for that tear-jerking thing again. Should be good.

It was a pretty good episode that one.

Was a sad day before hand because a school mate had just past away.

But yeah good episode, couldn't see that coming.

Dammit, they moved it to Sunday nights. I'm almost always busy on a Sunday night. I'm either going to have to tape it or change my schedule.

Sorry to hear about your schoolmate, Big Pete, I remember what it was like when a girl I knew in HS passed away.

Cop show huh ?

No im NOT a fan. How many do we need ffs ?

p.s. you arent smart because you watch cop shows you know ... if you want to watch a damn fine crime mystery then watch a movie called Sleuth, starring Michael Caine and Sir Laurence Olivier. If you can guess the end, then YOU ARE SMART !!

They moved it to rival channel 10's cop hour.

I reckon it's a stupid move, it won't last long, hopefully.

Lucky that tomorrow is a pupil free day.:D

I've never watched it.

Last year though I accidently taped CSI: Miami and I have been hooked on it ever since. It's great.

For some weird reason though, I just can't seem to get into CSI: Vegas.

I thought maybe they'd moved it so it wasn't in direct competition with Rove.

Cold Case has been in the top 10 shows the last fewratings weeks and Rove doesn't even make the top 50. Somehow I don't think they care about Rove.
