Australia's looking good with its current crop of players in NCAA Division I. We have 26 players there, with only Canada (78 ) topping us, with Lithuania fielding 25 players.
The season tipped off last weekend, with Andrew Bogut of Utah scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks in 31 minutes. Stefan Blaszczynski scored 21 for Nicholls State and Daniel Kickert had 25 points and 11 rebounds for St.Mary's in their opener. Alex Loughton pulled down 9 boards and 15 points for Old Dominion in their season opener, whilst Blagoj Janev also had 15 points, but 4 rebounds at New Hampshire. Freshman Aaron Bruce scored 22 and 19 points respectively in his first two outings for Baylor.
