For any fans of Neill Blomkamp's brilliant 2005 short film "Alive in Joburg", this is a must see. "District 9" seems to be an expanded version of that short (and Peter Jackson is involved in this).

Looks awesome, the viral marketing has been pretty cool as well.

Haven't seen Alive in Joburg but have heard that district 9 is a pretty full on movie.
