If anyone listened to 2UE this morning they opened the show with the "Lyon saga" .

Not only did they report that it's more than likelly Jamie will be allowed to play for Wee Waa under strict conditions but they questioned the validity of the letter obviously leaked to Hadley, Gibbs also went on to say that the bloke who wrote the story on RLW spent 2 days with Lyon and in no time during that visit did he say that Smith was the cause of him leaving. Gibbs also went on to say that he spoke to Alan Gainey this morning and Allan said that in any time during his departure did he say he left because of Smith.

Well there was a report in the mole section of the RLW that the letter was sent to Hadley from Manly to basically put even more pressure on an already volitile situation and in turn securing Lyon an unconditional release so he can join the Sea Eagles.

Well well well, more evidence to the fact that Hadley is going to be left with egg on his face. I think it's common knowledge now that this 'letter' was a fabrication. I'd like to see what he has to say for himself. It's ok to throw the odd rumour around but to say you have proof when you have no such thing, and say degrading things about people as a result should not be tolerated.

I have no doubt thats where the letter did come from, and if proven the NRL should step in and fine Moanly!! for putting the game in disripute.

Hadley won't admit he was wrong but I wouldn't be surprised to see him blame the Work Expeirence kid who handed him the letter :lol:

Well it may not even be Hadleys fault. he probably received a letter got an absolute "woody" over it and started squealing like a pig. It's hard to say whether it's a fabrication or not, I guess only time will tell.

either that or he'll just rubbish the claims by Voss & Gibbs he has given it to Voss a few times already this year.

Saying that when Voss was working with him he was good but now that he has become successful with his radio program & call games on 9 that he thinks he is bigger then he is

Well there certainly no love loss between GB and 9, in fact they despise each other.I will say this, when GB are on an agenda they will punch, probe and kick until they get their way.

Just ask Paul Vautin when he was outed from the Manly board or forced to stand down. ;-) ;-)

I'd love to see if the amendments on Jamies contract become public. They should for the sake of Football club members, season ticket holders and fans in general.

Of course it's his fault. If he wasn't 100% sure it was real then he shouldn't have said anything. He should have checked and verified it first before he shoots his mouth of. But he didn't, he went on and on about it being fact, not caring who he hurt in the process.

nothing much, just spoke to Nick Walshaw he said that he spoke to anyone who would listen in Wee Waa and no one has heard anything of a problem between Lyon & Smith (or if they have no one is saying anything)

Lyon's manager also denied the reports, but he did say that he didn't send the letter but he said that he hasn't been able to confirm that Lyon did/didn't send it on his own accord.

Well, Lyon'sversion backs up Brian Smith's sentiments. As you may recall, Smith was glowing about Lyon's character when interviewed by Warren Smith and Laurie Daley.

Hadley is a numbnuts. Andrew VOss comes across as a very professional person - possibly the most professional and objective of the lot.

As much as me and a few others are eager for anything that will happen to get rid of Smith, hearing that Lyon and Smith hold no animosity is comforting.
