Cricket returns to the commonwealth games with the women playing 20 over cricket.

Group A
Australia 🇦🇺
India 🇮🇳
Pakistan 🇵🇰
Barbados 🇧🇧

Group B
South Africa 🇿🇦
Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
New Zealand 🇳🇿
England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Usual suspects, Australia and India should go through to the semis from group A, a bit tighter in Group B but England and the kiwis should go through there.

First up win by Australia and a pretty useful one at that.

Set 154 at one stage they were 5/49 and then 6/100 before recovering to 7/157 and winning with 3 balls remaining

I guess in this format surprises can happen, but the fight for silver should be interesting

Lol @ NZ

we had 3 decent bats, they forced one into retirement and now we have 3…. All fail and we get this shit…. WTF would make NZ cricket think we have the depth in any format to force people into early retirement???

Poms are better than us anyway, but in cricket (mens and womens) we need everyone and to scrap for everything….
