Not sure if there's been a thread on this show before but I've finally started watching it. It's been great so far, so funny. It's a really great show and I'd encourage anyone to watch it. It's consistently funny throughout each episode but somehow manages to introduce deeper issues without turning the episode somber.

I originally wanted to watch Community because I saw that Donald Glover was on it, and I know him from Derrick Comedy. This is my favourite (although the language might not be to everyone's liking...): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2nTbqbtGug.

It also helps my enjoyment of the show that I want to make sweet nerd love to Annie.

Season 1 is best imo

I'm about 10 eps into season 2, and its hard to say. I might give a slight edge to season 2 so far simply because I feel the characters are all in sync now, if that makes sense. They seem to play off each other better than in the early stages of season 1.

I was super excited for season 2 though because I liked season 1 a lot which got "positive reviews", and season 2 got "extremely positive reviews" so I knew I must be in for a treat, and so far so good.

One other thing I like is the fact that all of them are fairly equal in terms of importance. In a lot of shows its fairly obvious that the show would collapse without certain people (like Sheldon at the big bang theory). I think its a sign of the quality of the writing that they aren't reliant on one dominant force for the laughs.

Season 3 was put into 'hiatus' mode mid season before Christmas, but it will start again in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping this doesn't result in an equal lag time when it comes time for the DVD release.

I'm also hoping GO! treat season 3 with more respect than they did for season 2 (although I think that's expecting too much)- it started about 1 month later than they initially promised to start showing it, and only played about 80% of the episodes, something I only noticed when I watched the season 2 DVD.

Second half of season 3 is back on this week, great to see it back. Hopefully it gets renewed again. I read a promising article somewhere saying in its favour (despite poor ratings) is that NBC is struggling ratings-wise with every show and have no candidates to replace Community with that will be a guarantee ratings boost, so they are a good chance of retaining it simply because of its devoted cult following and critical acclaim (and obviously along with no better replacements).

Also, for anyone interested in the webisodes who haven't already seen them I'll post the links below. Sucks that NBC blocks access to the webisodes to people outside America. I don't udnerstand the point in denying people access to content you make free and available to America. It can only possibly be a positive thing for the show, even if the hits don't register with your ad people ect. Drumming up interest in Australia could boost sales in this region, why not leave it open?

I've tried getting into this show, watched 5-6 season 1 eps and it didn't rope me in. Won't say it's shit, just not for me.

I noticed TV1 on Foxtel introduced Community by playing the whole of season 1 from start to finish on ANZAC Day. Now it's on 5:30pm weekdays or something like that.
