Compatibility - Jon's patch and Gol's patch and Inertia's

hello everyone

i noticed that Jon's got a cool patch too. I installed Gol's patch ages ago ..if i want to try out Jon's patch do i have to unistall Gol's first?

another question- if i hadnt got Gol's patch can i install Jon's patch afresh?

oh and jus to make things complicated what about Inertia's International Edition? does it work on top of the patch or patches?

My patch overwrites everythign thats in Gols patch, so thats sweet. It will overwrite automatically dont need to uninstall Gols.

The great thing about inerties IE, is that it has an install/restore feature.

You can install my or Gols patch.. then install IE.. then if you want to play my patch, click on the IE program file and choose restore. It takes a couple seconds and then you can play mine again.

You can switch back and forth between International Edition and another patch, without having to copy or paste any files. It's great.

you can install Jons patch as over the top of Gols as fair as I know, or a fresh.

you should be able to install the International Edition over the top and use the IE installer to restore the way the game was before.

make sure you delete save games before you do any of this.

i'm tying to patch my xbox version but the xbox doesn't like the new the db files :evil:

can't find it's custom files either.

don't know if i have the will to replicate it all again.

Yeah I don't really recommend mixing my patch with others that change the database, but if you install one that overwrites all the files I changed then there should be no problems. Installing it on top of IE wouldn't be a good idea though, and backups of the originals are provided in my patch if you want to roll back, but as the documentation says, its best to make a backup of your originals so you can restore it yourself, and rolling back to those would be best before installing new patches.
