Meh, I don't think comparing on-field incidents to literal crimes committed off the field that are also punished by the law are a fair comparison.

Latrell is a thug who should have got more. But the fact is racism is a worse look for the sport overall than a high shot. The game needs and wants to be inclusive. It doesn't take a brainiac to work out why sexual/racist incidents are going to have a heavier penalty.

I can sort of see where MKCS is coming from, but I agree, having an off-field incident that has other punishments (i.e. Police, courts etc) isn't really comparable.

Looking at it through global impact lenses, racism is such a world-wide issue that it's going to cause more uproar than a high shot (although it was f**king horrific) and have more potential to hurt "the brand".

Hit the nail. A high shot hurts a player, racial abuse hurts the brand. I think he got off lightly really.

Of course I do... what a stupid question. Where in my post, or the ones I quoted, did sex offenders even get brought up?

But if you want my opinion on it, I think they should all be shot... point blank.... but in lieu of that, if they're found guilty they should be behind bars (e.g. Hayne).

But I was referencing the incidents that MKCS mentioned in his post, none of which were sex offenders.

MKCS missed one - A sex offender got 7 weeks last year.

Spencer got 8, Some still say it is unders.

I wouldn't allow any criminals in the game but the game seems to be harsher on words, then actual crimes

Right, you seem to really want me to argue with you about this... which is weird.

I already gave my opinion on that, which has nothing to do with my previous post but you seem to really want to use it as a "ha ha gotcha" moment. It's not. I was replying to the what the post said, not what it didn't say.

It's also about context. In the Brown example old mate has just gone back to he also had a 40k fine and judicial penalties...

Because it isn't an easy one to decide. That is the thing, nor is a straight out that Leinu hates aboriginals.

I do think the colour of his skin lessened the sentence

He is missing for 1/3rd of the season for a stupid comment made, personally I think it is fair.

JT and Latrell who are aboriginal leaders say it should be more, Again it is their opinions but doesn't mean the panel last night got it wrong
