pretty much a like for like replacement for Tonumaipea
surely souths can only afford one of latrell or JAC
On the one hand, I'm happy he gets to finish at Manly, and also that this probably annoys Choc a little bit.
On the other hand
Jack Hetherington to Bulldogs..
Good signing. Adds some starch (loved his tête-à-tête with JWH) to the forwards and takes one away from the GOAT Panthers. Now grab a few more TBaz so the mere mortal teams have a chance this decade.
Poasa Faamausili from Roosters to Dragons confirmed via TDT.
Caleb Aekins to Raiders next year, looks like panthers are clearing cap space, this after hethro to dogs a few days ago, jed at souffs a few weeks ago and jimmy T to wests before that, looking like Graduation day for most of these panther cubs, upgraddes are a comin y'all!
No idea why we’d bother with Aekins, maybe our reserve grade team needs a backup fullback.
Jacob Host and Taane Milne both signed with the Rabbitohs.
Maybe he would go better than the slow cramping plonker that goes missing
Like for like. Aekins doesn't cramp though, just naturally slow. Also doesn't really show up in attack to be able to go missing. Very safe though, the definition of starch.
he is a ricky stuart type outside back through and through then
If Stick can teach him a bit of ball play or get him at least some kind of a threat in attack he could be a good pick up. he seems pretty durable and is certainly willing. I hope he goes well.
360 reporting Flanagan has signed with the dogs.
Confirmed - https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...y/news-story/52a8178bbbaf0d7a03f58c976dbc8456
Not bad if it's the reported figure. He's a good organiser from what I've seen of him and has a very good kicking game. Needs a running 5/8th.
Still young so there’s plenty of time for him to develop. Looked very average for the roosters though in a loaded side where most of the attention is on keary and teddy.
He’s going to cop plenty of hits playing for the dogs
The Roosters are making a big mistake if they think Lam will be good enough to play 7 for them
Not sold about the signing, hard to be enthused by a half the roosters deemed not capable of doing the job required after only 12 months
But this is the sort of roll of the dice in a key position the bulldogs need to take. There is no chance he’s worse than Lewis, and maybe he finds his groove there
nice work by the dogs assuming the money is sound
steve hansen is easily the best buy bulldogs have made in a long long time. one of the great no nonsense and most successful all blacks coaches ever, stepping into a club wallowing in shit.
yes please! come kick us into shape.
James Roberts released by the Rabbitohs.
