Congatualtions to Ghana

This is a bit late but I would like to say congratulations to ghana for getting through to the round of 16 in arguably the toughest group (italy, czech republic and usa). Shame they didnt beat brazil thought :x.

Senegal 2002 were better.

They did well but there were tougher groups

Groups A, C & F were tougher.

Soviet Ukraine did the best considering with the exception of 2 players their squad is made up of Ukrainian semi professional league players and it was their first world cup

Groups A, C & F were tougher.

Ignoring on-field performances, they did well to progress in a group with three teams ranked inside the top 10 in the world. (Also ignoring the dodginess of the rankings system).

Nobody in their right mind would have gone past Italy and the Czechs to coast through that group.
