Guys anything that Hadley says shouldn never be taken as accurate. And I don't think anyone should be saying they agree with Ray as 100%, he is not motivated by the facts but by other issues. Interesting to see his take on Jamie Lyon and what this so-called 'proof' is. Him reading a statment or something is not proof.

I can't wait for his so called "comprehensive proof"....if its anything other than a named person with absolute knowledge of the situation actually speaking then it can't be believed.


Here's an example of the continuous call team's so called facts...just minutes ago, they were having a shot at Denis/Brian/Fui by saying what Fui has done this season...Ray asked Bozo to list his appearances for Parra, to which Bozo said the following:
- Played just 18 minutes against Manly in his NRL debut
- Then played a few weeks in PL
- Then played 12 minutes 2 weeks ago
- Played 8 minutes last night

Now lets lay the truth over this....
- Came on just before half time vs Manly made a few barstorming runs to give us some momentum and a couple of big hits....in doing this he broke a rib....still attempted to come back out in the second half, but a broken rib on a prop is not something you can hide in the NRL.
- Missed several weeks because of the rib injury - was NOT in PL
- Came back against Storm and played last night against the Dragons - admittedly did nothing much in either game.


So in attempt to push some personal vendetta they have they made up a load of crap!!!

They will always stretch the truth to suit their points and possibly make up a few 'facts' along the way. If they're going to make one thing up, then they could be making everything up. Everytime Hadley says something against Parramatta from now on is based on bias after his argument with Smith.

Personal vendetta's and agenda against Brian Smith weakens their arguments. Get off Smith's back, fget of the team's back and we might see them play with a bit of confidence.
IF LYON has made threats (and that is a BIG IF because I don't believe he is that weak or stupid) to "reveal all" to gain a release (as quoted in RLW) he could be charged with extortion.. making threats to gain an advantage.
If he is physically fit to play football, he should be sued for breach of contract if he does not return. He HAS to be taught CONTRACTS are legally binding on both parties. If the boot was on the other foot do you think he would cop it on the chin?
I have no doubt he would have the Club in court chasing his rights.

I agree with Bozo that our team didn't try last night.. looked like they just weren't putting in... sad really... (for that we could be upset with Smith)

BUT, those Bozo's (no pun intended) were firing up Smith because they reckon that everyone tipped the Eels to finish top 4 and because of that he should be blamed for the poor performances....
.... of course facts are never important to Hadley and his cronies are they? Every single season preview that I saw had the Eels finising 9th (Gould excepted - he said 12-13). So no criticism should be levelled at Smith for the current position that we are in... so far this season the team has competed in most games (round 1 and uesterday excluded) - why is Smith copping a hard time for going along according to the predictions? In contrast a couple of guys had the Saints finshing 1st - techincally they should be getting agro at Nathan Brown for not living up to his billing...

Sad the inconsistencies and lack of facts that the call team operate under... I seriously don't understand why people listen to that nonsense.....

The proof apparently is a letter handed to Fitzgerald on Friday night from someone associated with Lyons, basically saying Lyons left because of a fallout with Smith.
If he is given release expect him to be at Manly, given the crusher connection (until he has a fallout with Des Hasler :lol: )

Yep ithink Fitzgerald got the letter and decided to keep it a secret, he wouldn't tell a single person except his good mate Ray Hadley and swore him to secrecy. He must have forgotten that Hadley has a personal vendetta against Brian Smith and overlooked the fact he'd been campaigning savagely for the past week to get him to stand down. Fitzgerald was probably very shocked and surprised when the normally honest and trustworthy Ray Hadley decided to reveal all in the papers.

If Lyon's situation with BS was SO bad, how come his parents have continually urged him to go back to the club otherwise he will have regrets for the rest of his life. Not once have his father or mother bagged the club or anyone at the club. You would think if anyone knows the truth it would be mum and dad. Hadley is a moron with no credibility; the man has never played the game in his life which gives you an indication as to his credentials.

P.S. And because Bozo played for Manly and Easts, his opinion also counts for nothing.

I heard a little of what Ray said - still no proof from what I can see....he said he called Fitzy, who has never lied to him in 22yrs, and Fitzy confirmed there is a letter from Jamie Lyon but WOULD NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE CONTENT.

Ray claims he then called around, including Wee Waa, to confirm that the letter is very much saying Jamie has a problem with the coaching of Smith at Parramatta....HOWEVER, RAY NEVER MENTIONED ONCE WHO TOLD HIM THIS INFORMATION.....why? well I can only imagine he's still running on made up theories and rumours.
