Hola amigos,
Well it's all building up here in Chile to a massive Copa America......mind you everyone is football crazy here anyway but the fact the Copa is in their own backyard you cant watch an hour of tv without seeing at least 5-6 ads promoting the tournament. Unfortunately every game sold out 3 months ago before we came here to live so i missed out but ill be watching every game live and can keep you up to date with live scores. Vamos CHILE!

who are you on Chilidude
Hola Twizamigo, trying not to be biased Chile in their own country with Vidal and Sanchez both firing will be hard to beat but they are in the so called group of death with Mexico, Equador who are both strong and Bolivia.....who knows what to expect from them as their yo-yo form continues.
The conspiracy preachers are out in force though over the group Argentina has been given yet again after their smooth ride through the world cup. They have paraguay and Jamaica in their group which you can pretty much pencil in as 2 easy wins, the toughest opponent will be Uruguay but with no toothless Suarez in the team, they are weaker.
Brazil can never be written off as favourites, I cant wait for their match against Colombia July 17th, that is going to be a cracker! Peru are spectators and are the weakest in the group, Venezuela will challenge both Brazil and Colombia and could spring an upset. Cant wait Twizzamigo, the cabritas and cerveza (popcorn and beer) are ready and waiting for a month of non stop futbol. :)

Keen to watch Chile go round just to see Gary Medel. Love watching that little bull terrier rip in. LFC need to buy him asap.

Chile 2-0 Equador with a dodgy penalty to Chile. In the end Chile was definitely the better team but seemed to be very nervous and Equador on numerous occasions nearly got them on the counter attacks.

Argentina with a grinding 1-0 win yesterday against Uruguay, still not in top form but they did enough, I like what Pastore brings to the side, defense still has big question marks

Colombia just downed Brazil 1-0, Brazil were lucky to get past Peru!

So the quarter finals are set

Chile v Uruguay
Peru v Bolivia
Argentina v Colombia
Brazil v Paraguay

Seems like Chile got a pretty nice draw, they should get to the final provided they can get past Uruguay

Other side is wide open, Colombia seem to be struggling to score goals but the same can be said for Argentina. Brazil have been all over the place and Paraguay surprisingly consistent
