Corey Dillon to New England

Just read that Bengals RB corey Dillon has been traded to the Pats for a 2nd round draft pick.

Looks like the Pats will be tough, if not tougher, to beat yet again next season with Brady's arm and now Dillon at RB!!

Corey was injured last season, but I still think he'll greatly improve the New England running game which was one of the worst in the league last season.

Just what we Fin fans didnt want! :lol: ;-)

Absolutely crazy, as if the pats needed a pro-bowl running back! Im worried it might be a one-horse race for the next couple of seasons.

I'm not too worried about Dillon going to the Patriots. I think his best days are past him and he seems to be getting injury prone. Patriots have also lost Ted Washington so there goes their run defence. Law might not return to them and if he does I wonder if he will have the same motivation.

Another thing, Brady has got the cover job for Madden '05 so bye bye to the Patriots passing game :lol:

Dillon was unhappy last year and just fed up with playing with a losing team, Belichick will whip him into shape and he will be back to his best this year. I believe he's got 2-3 solid years left in him.

Ted Washington only played in 10 games for the Pats last year and that includes the playoffs so you having a laugh saying that their run D has gone with him. The Patriots have already signed Keith Traylor in FA and drafted Vince Wilfork in the first round who is younger and potentially better than Washington and can play Nose tackle.

I like your comment about Brady though it is a curse to be on the cover of Maddens, Vick, George, Levens etc HAHA
