X2, 100% on the money.
Try and twist whatever you want forward pass.
He is paid and treated as a professional athlete. His behavior is anything but a professional athlete
Not twisting anything. It was suggested he is on the piss every week and i just asked how we know this is the case.

It's reminiscent of his time at the Broncos. They had enough of him and put him in reserve grade.

What has happened?

I had to start a thread having watched the "All the Tries' on Fox the other day featuring every Semi Radradra try.

This show was depressing in two ways -

1) Seeing some of the tries Semi scored for us over the years and seeing what we are missing nearly brought me to tears.

2) Watching how many of those tries were laid on by Norman. Crisp cut out passes to Semi, a couple of long floating passes (one which was thrown from near the posts - must have travelled 30 metres) some beautiful lead up work to create the space and some superb pin point kicks. Watching this package of tries, you would think Norman was Thurston or Lockyer.

Where has this all gone? Is it because of Moses, is he just badly out of form, out of ideas or simply does not have the confidence in our wingers now to throw those passes?

I have been as critical of him this year as anyone, but then you watch something like that and it reminds you of his talent which you forget when time goes on. Surely he is still capable. He seems to be a shadow of his former self and I really don't know why.

I reckon it boils down to confidence. A guy like Norman is a confidence player, when the team is confident and he's confident he makes a decision and pulls the rein...when he's not, he overthinks and winds up fluffing it trying to do four different things at once.

He's never been the "back to basics" type but he really needs to just calm down and pass or kick the footy. Do the simple things right and use that as a stepping stone to form.

Norman is our highest paid player and is a peanut and having a shit season. He needs to be dropped. If he does I’d like to see how he responds.
Dropping him to RG doesn't solve anything, it only devalues him when we want someone to pay majority of his freight to piss him off.

I have been his biggest fan for years and always defended him, but enough is enough now. People can bag Moses all they want, but the kid tries, he gives a 100% and if were losing and need someone to step up he never shy's away from it, more times then not he does the right things. Norman on the other hand does not like it when things are tough, he doesn't wanna get down and dirty and he shirks away from responsibility in the big situations when we need him most.

These constant inside balls or the half hearted runs into the defensive line is killing us, since Moses has come he has gone backwards. It's so sad to see cause the guy is a seriously good footballer on his day but that rarely happens anymore. When he was with Foran in 2016 he was a serious world beater and breaking the line every week, he rarely links up with his partnering half anymore and just lacks that spring in his step nowadays.

For me to be fed up with him means his seriously travelling bad, I know Salmon is young but the year is over and there is no better time to start blooding the kid. But Norman needs to move on before we do that.

The people here questioning his weekend antics are probably the same people asking for BA to be sacked.

If you can’t see this kind of attitude that Norman has is the reason we are at the bottom of the ladder you need opsm as much as the refs these days.
Go read up on the impact alcohol has on athletes...

I think they both try. But halves especially are much more reliant on confidence, both their own and that of the players around them, and both Moses and Norman are confidence players.

Norman is a much more free-form attacking player than Moses is and he looks like he hasn't got the confidence to make a call at the moment, so he winds up running into a wall or just dumping it off.

A guy like Moses is more capable of going back to the basic kick-pass-run than a guy like Norman who has a bunch of things in his head and no confidence to pull any of the reins

His attitude and input suggests he isn't putting in 100%.

I don't know but the way I see it is that he goes missing and hides from getting his hands on the ball, I feel Moses goes looking for it and wants to make things happen where as Norman just sits on the left edge and if the ball comes it does,

It could be confidence but he was struggling last year for mine aswell, Moses ran our team.

I know our forwards are getting dominated more often then not, and it never helps.

But is dumping it off or jogging up to the line solely due to confidence? I don't agree.

The thing is, the confidence means he's not making decisions. So it's not necessarily solely confidence, that lack of confidence is leading to him not making any decision in terms of an attacking play, and being forced to dump it off or take a tackle.

I reckon you can see it on some of those less effective "runs" where he gets caught, he gets the ball and just kind of stands there looking around for options, then kind of gives up and takes a tackle. That definitely looks like a player who doesn't know what play to call. I've been there...

I don't think he's hiding from the footy, his possessions are comparable to Moses every week still, and more than Moses at times.

You make some good points but I just feel he his treading water and I am not sure if we will see him at his best again in blue and gold.

He looks like he couldn’t give a f**k, he hasn’t changed one iota since his Bronco days.

it was reported that he got on it at the Rocks with Brown and some one else, yet Brown doesn't get a mention and Corey is an alcho.

I'm not defending his form but geez, death riders dont need much of a reason to slate people they dont like
