Yesterday,s Liverpool Champion newspaper says Luke Covell has played his last game for Wests and Wests Tigers , Covell damaged medial ligaments in his knee, in last weekends game .

Medial ligament damage is nothing compared to cruciate damage. It shouldn't affect him next year at all.

at least give the guy a chance. a month ago we were offering up our firstborn for a half-decent kicker, now we sign one we want to get rid of him. i say let's have a little bit more faith in stu raper -nobody's 100% perfect 100% of the time (except goose gould :lol: ) but he hasn't done too bad so far

I feel for the young bloke. But it's better it happens now and is fixed than next year. Years ago there was another young bloke at Balmain - Keith Barnes. It had been said that Balmain took the field every game with a 10 point lead. Let's hope the same applies to the Sharks next year.

We found one HILDER so IMO we didn't need a kicker after all, the money spent on Covell should have been spent on a better player eg; a good 5\8
