It's disgraceful when you'd think they'd be the most desperate to jag a win for themselves or the fans at least.

Our team is a disgrace. The coach, the players, the apologisers (ie those that said trust the process) have no leg left to stand on.
Injuries/ effort is not what lost us that match. It was just very atrocious rugby league skill.

Finally watched the Kayo mini of this game as I wasn't willing to give up another Friday afternoon, watching the same old shit again.

I have got to say...........that was the worst defensive and attacking effort I have seen in a very long time it was U10's quality dished out by players that earn way above the Australian average for minimal effort.

They looked like a bunch of 10 yo's put together to make up the numbers cos the F grade didn't have enough players to field a team to avoid a forfeit so they grabbed a few from G grade.

We should have probably forfeited rather than play the dribble that took the field.

1. Gutho is a passenger and another pay check grabber

2 &5. Allen, thank god there is only a few more games left in this season. Sloan needs to be coached and bulked up physically and mentally as specialist winger with his natural speed. You cant coach speed and we have it. You can coach defence etc. Stupid to let Sloan go when you can coach the FXck into him.

3 & 4 To me Suli has been a myth since we signed him on big bucks. Not 100 % sure how long we have to pay the merkin, but I would transition him into a Ressie or impact back rower off the bench, a centre he is definately not.

6 & 7 Well Deardon showed us what a true 7 can do, neither, Kyle, King Togia, Ilias, Glover are fit to tie his shoe laces. Pathetic at NRL standard to be frank without a million examples of contolling and closing out games we should have won. I think Reed got a run at one of the trial games this year and I though at the time "Geez this kid is Fxking good. Atkinson next year would be an upgrade at 6, but a wasted opportunity if we don't have quality 7 by his side for 26.

13. Stupid move to not offer De Belin another 12 month contract (i'm sure he would have stayed as a 1 clubber (like Gallen did for the Sharts) considering at the moment he is the only forward that stands out in defence and ball playing and decent bend the line hit ups.

11 & 12 Sua is usually pretty good, but in some games I feel as tho he thinks " FXkt it if these other muppets can't put their body on the line why should I?" Leilua needs a dietician and dog/greyhound to walk/run around his neighborhood after each training session with the Dargons!!!

9 & 14 Cookie is more a hindrance than help, the bench rotation should be reversed where Cook plays minimal minutes in either 1/2 and unleash Liddle. We saw what he can do to tired defences twice on Friday night. Cook is surplus to our needs and should never have been signed, plus he convinced coach Flanno we should sign Ilias...!!! Complete Fxckup and Cookie should be punished.

8 & 10 Well due to injuries the Couchies, Egan and other up and coming promising juniors, Klemmer is not great but just OK. Bitch tits Cake, Guler, Sele, RFM, M Molo, V Fifita should be shown the door prior to 2026.

Again for 2025 we have gone the money ball path and apart from Holmes (which took him 1/2 a season to do anything) the other signings have been a waste of money and cap space.

Like some else said on here .......if gutho can win a a run up a Gong mountain ahead of anyone else in the squad the that set our 2025 campaign from that article onwards.

After Fridays Shit show against the Cows, I'm cancelling my Kayo subscription ( now gone up to $40 to watch not sport but orchestrated NRL entertainment by Dumbo and the horse racing Jokey VL), I haven't been to a live game apart from Souffs V's StGeorge at Kogarah last season on tickets won on a charity fund raiser.

I will not contribute another cents to this farce of a competition?/ WWEesk entertainment any more.

I hope the Arab 360 Rugby thingy wipes out all the talent and corruption that is present in the NRL right now. Good luck to Dumbo, VL and Dopey Albo, for trying to expand to Perth and PNG with a reserve grader quality spectacle.

Dumbo, VL and Spectrum Albo have doomed this game back to it's original roots to a working class sport which it was once and enjoyable to watch.

The recruitment retention has been diabolical and worse still, some of these not required duplications are here for a while
The next bloke will have to work hard to clean up this mess but hopefully he will at least have some ability in coaching

Yah its incredibly unlucky.. not just injured.. but Ryan's ACL led to him missing the entire season and Egan's ACL most of it...

The problem now is apart from Halangahu & Nick (the latter is now injured *sigh*), the rest aren't contracted.. if he wanted to blood anyone else we would need to commit a contract to them.. I dont think Flanno is in that mindset at all.. thats above him imo its a club decision for Tim/Daniel/Flanno/Willie combined.. they would be rookies like Liu & Heidke (though Heidke is now injured also ffs), I would have said Lyric a smokey also, but had a shocker in the 2nd half yesterday which has cooled the jets on that one, gonna need to do his time in cup.. Williams is another option though hes barely had a few games in cup... I think it'll be Feagai/Allan/CT and maybe Lawson to cover 1st grade outside backs.

Halangahu is also so far from a first grader at this stage.. although its not impossible that you'd give him a R27 token game off the bench as part of his development.. but he hasnt earnt it.. his defensive gaffs yesterday were at the very start of the game.. nothing to do with being fatigued... but with Nick & Sua injured.. its now RFM+MMolo+Leilua as our only fit 2nd row options.. were gonna have to promote Treweek or play someone out of position in NSW Cup.

Huh? Nearly 80 first grade games of the same continual basic mistakes under two different coaches would suggest that maybe this is not possible. Common sense would suggest it would be stupid to continue hoping Sloan comes good when the evidence so far indicates he actually doesn’t respond to coaching.

Yah I think we have finally cut the cord.. but Sloan is still on contract for 2026.. unlike most of the other guys we want to move on.. someone will buy Sloan.. its just they will try to lowball us for < half of his 500k+ contract.. unless perhaps he goes to the EPL which I hope he does... cause I think he will be a real celebrity in that comp.

I will give Sloan some slack on the way he handles wing defence in that this is his first year as a fulltime winger (though he did play there in lower grades too), so there is something in that.. but ultimately there is talent there.. but he is missing that mongrel that an NRL player needs.. you cant just create it for him (we tried)... we gave him more than a fair shot under multiple coaches.. multiple positions.... all he is bringing is speed.. its not a big ask to find speed & toughness in a winger.. its a relatively simple position.

We just cant have these chinks in the defensive armour (Leilua is another for example), we are literally pushing for Top8 if we had a bog average standard firrst grade winger on that edge instead of Sloan..

The other reality is we have had to play him almost all year due to injuries.. he rarely gets injured.. if we do move him on.. we need to find someone to replace him, a Chevy Stewart, a Jayden Campbell, a Votano/Faulalo.. one of the numerous young gun fullback/wingers that are stuck behind multiple superstars.. but if we cant sign one of those.. I mean its not good.. there is no talent coming through for 3-4yrs in that position.... but.. reality is you need to take a leap of faith.. clear the spot.. clear the pathway.. then you can sell the opportunity to an external talent.

FU Dumbo, VL and Spectrum Albo are better than any administrators the NRL has had in years. At least every club is making money now because of them. And they have money in the bank, unlike the other dickheads that had 500 staff and nothing else. More people watching than ever (except us dumb Dragons fans who won't go watch live).
