Apparently Gibbs' cut to the knee was down to the bone. With just a four day turnaround, I doubt he'll be playing.

We are really light on props if this is the case.

I would go for:

1. Hodgson
2. McDonnell (Tagive if fit)
3. Collis
4. Ryan
5. Lawrence
6. Marshall
7. Head
8. Harrison
9. Farah
10. Galloway
11. Te'o
12. Heighington
13. Halatau

14. Morris (please mark never to kick a ball again)
15. Tuiaki (to alternate between front-row and second-row)
16. Galea (thought he played well last night)
17. Trimarchi

Do we have any decent props in the lower grades? Stolk? Davidson? Rysko? Are any of them good enough?

Tandy could probably do a job against the **** the cowboys would send out
Bubbles, how far away is payto now ... any chance this weekend ?
JB can get ****ed
Heighno might have to play prop this week ... we're down to the bones on the props front if gibbs is out

Gibbs out will hurt us a bit, Davidson is good, not sure how he would go in 1st but some time against the Cowgirls might be a way to test him out.
I'm glad Bronson is back, he had a taste last night and is back at a time we will need him. Hope he picks up where he left off.

Davidson has a history of back complaints and last nights game has aggravated it and he would be in serious doubt if it doesn't come right one would imagine

I thought Galea had his best game for the club last night. Dropped one but aside from that played lots of minutes and was rock solid in defence and made a few good hit ups.

Te'o twice smeg ... i prefer the bench Te'o to the starter

Are you fair dinkum ???
Mate, there was only 2-3 blokes in our side last night that were willing to fight fire with fire and really try and belt the massive Roosters forward pack, Ben Te`o, Danny Galea when he came on and to a slightly lesser extent Keith Galloway. No doubt that Chris Heighington and Robbie Farah put in and had very good games as well, but they simply don`t hit hard enough to make anyone fear running at them. Ben Te`o on the other hand hits hard almost every time someone runs at him, he belted Willie Mason with a couple of bellringers early on, hence the reason Willie started to have a look before catching the ball and had a horror night with his hands.
Ben Te`o is the real deal and if we lose him it will be the most costly loss in the clubs history including Scott Prince and Anthony Laffranchi.

I just think Te'o is more effective off the bench and I ain't alone there
Great player, plenty of potential but just think he gives us more off the bench

And leave it to who to hit hard and force turnovers in the early exchanges ???
Be fair dinkum, besides Te`o, Galloway and Galea, the rest of them wouldn`t knock the top off a custard tart !

Swap Galea for Teo in interchange position.

Galea is a great cover defender and likes to slap seven shades of **** out of them in a tackle. Also lets Teo come in as a fresh impact.

Unless of course all this starting will halp him put pen to paper. If thats the case than start the kid

What`s wrong with Halatau starting on the bench ??? He`s an arm grabber, not what`s needed in the early exchanges.

Really??

Most of his tackles in the opening exchanges were very effective

Well your obviously watching something different to me, because i`ve never seen Halatau hurt someone when defending ever. It`s a much different story with Te`o.
It`s highly regarded amongst all NRL teams that the Wests Tigers have the softest pack in the comp. Nothing to do with size, all to do with the fact that we have very few genuine hitters in our side. As i`ve stated, it`s only Te`o and to a lesser extent Payten, Galloway and Galea that make anyone fear running at them.

Ar ok, I was meaning effective tackles as in just getting the tackle done(which I think he does), you mean tackles with mongrel in them, ones that send shivers down the spines of oncoming attackers.

You mean no one fears sizzler's defensive strategies ?

It`s not up to the Sizzler or anyone else to entice a bloke to hit hard. You either have it in you to put your body on the line and have a go, or you don`t. Workrate wise, Farah and Heighington are great and of course you need players like that in your side. Farah is a brilliant footballer and i`m not bagging him, but rival players love running at him, it`s an easy 10-15 metres every time. Heighington, again a great footballer, but a bloke his size should be striking a bit of fear into the opposition when defending, he doesn`t and therefore won`t get a look in for SOO until he does.
The real standouts last night were Ben Te`o and Danny Galea, they belted the Roosters players EVERY TIME they run at them.
We have a side good enough to win this years GF, but we won`t get near the good sides such as the Storm, Roosters, Broncos etc umless our forwards all start playing with a bit of aggression !
